When you register for an Account, we may ask for your contact information, including items such as name, company name, address, email address, and telephone number. We may track your browsing behaviour on our website which and accumulate the information to give out better services on our platform.

Google User Data

Jhattse Business offers an optional Gmail integration that lets a business owner connect their own Gmail account to send booking and order related emails (such as booking confirmations, invoices, and digital bills) to their customers directly from their own Gmail address.

To provide this feature, we request the gmail.send Google OAuth scope. This scope allows Jhattse Business to send emails on the connected user's behalf only — we do not request read access to the mailbox, and we do not read, use, or store the content of any emails in the user's mailbox.

We only use Google user data to send the booking/order emails described above, at the connected user's own request.
We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not sell, rent, or share Google user data with third parties.
The OAuth refresh token used to send emails is stored encrypted and is only used for this purpose.
A user can disconnect their Gmail account at any time from the Integrations settings within Jhattse Business, or by revoking access from their Google Account permissions page.

Jhattse Business's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How We Protect Google User Data

We apply the following safeguards to protect the OAuth credentials and any Google user data associated with your connected Gmail account:

The OAuth refresh token issued by Google is encrypted before it is stored in our database, and is never stored or transmitted in plain text.
All communication between Jhattse Business, our servers, and the Gmail API takes place over encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections.
Access to stored credentials is restricted to backend services that need them to send booking/order emails, and is not accessible to other Jhattse Business users or staff outside of authorized system administrators.
We do not use Google user data for any purpose other than sending the booking/order emails described above, and we never use it to train machine learning or AI models.

Retention and Deletion of Google User Data

We retain the encrypted Gmail OAuth refresh token only for as long as your Gmail integration remains connected to Jhattse Business, so that we can continue sending booking/order emails on your behalf.

If you disconnect your Gmail account from the Integrations settings within Jhattse Business, the stored refresh token is permanently deleted from our systems immediately.
You may also revoke Jhattse Business's access at any time from your Google Account permissions page; this immediately invalidates the token on Google's side.
You can request deletion of any Google user data we hold at any time by contacting us at connect@jhattse.com, and we will delete it within 30 days of a verified request.
Jhattse Business does not use Gmail message content for any purpose, so no email content is ever stored or retained by us.

Log Files

Jhattse Business follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and a part of hosting services' analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users' movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.

Cookies and Web Beacons

Like any other website, Jhattse Business uses 'cookies'. These cookies are used to store information including visitors' preferences, and the pages on the website that the visitor accessed or visited. The information is used to optimize the users' experience by customizing our web page content based on visitors' browser type and/or other information.

Note that Jhattse Business has no access to or control over these cookies that are used by third-party advertisers.

We may share personal information internally within Esangrah group companies, affiliates, related companies and with other third parties for purposes of providing products and services offered by them. These entities and affiliates may share such information with their affiliates, business partners and other third parties for the purpose of providing you their products and services and may market to you as a result of such sharing unless you explicitly opt-out.

Children's Information

Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity.

Use of our Platform is available only to persons who can form a legally binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from children under the age of 18 years. If you have shared any personal information of children under the age of 18 years, you represent that you have the authority to do so and permit us to use the information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
